XB-70 VALKYRIE

Developed originally to a USAF specification for an
intercontinental bomber to replace the B-52, the XB-70
was rapidly relegated to a research role. Two examples
were produced, first flying in 1964. In 1966 one aircraft
was lost in a mid-air collision with an F-104, and the
remaining aircraft was retired in 1969 to the USAF
Museum.This CD contains the complete interim USAF flight
manual for the North American XB-70A Valkyrie Mach
3 research aircraft. This CD has been scanned from a
good quality photocopy of the original flight manual.

1. Interim USAF Flight Manual T.O. 1B-70(X)A-1 dated
31-8-64, revised to 25-6-65, approx 380 pages.2. Confidential USAF Flight Handbook Supplement T.O.
1B-70(X)A-1A, dated 30-9-64 revised to 15-2-67, approx
110 pages. This supplemental flight manual contains
material which was classified Confidential and
separated from the basic flight manual. This flight
manual has since been de-classified.
