The Avro Vulcan was
the second of the three British
V-bombers to enter
service. Designed around a large
delta wing which
offered excellent structural integrity
plus great storage
capacity within it's deep-section.
Due to the lack
of aerodynamic data several one-third
-scale research
aircraft were built to provide data.
Two versions of the
Vulcan were built, the B.1 and the
later B.2 which
featured an enlarged wing, elevons,
APU, in-flight
refuelling and the ability to launch the
Blue Steel stand-off
weapon.
This CD contains the
flight manual for the two variants
of the fabulous
delta-winged Avro Vulcan V-bomber,
plus two of the
small research aircraft built to investigate
the delta-winged
configuration.

from the original flight manuals
