TEMCO TRAINERS

This CD contains flight manuals for trainer aircraft produced
by Temco Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Temco was a large
company which specialised in sub-contracting to other
aircraft manufacturers, and must be considered a very
unlucky company, as in spite of producing some very
attractive aircraft of their own, none were awarded
production contracts. The first flight manual is for the Swift. Originally produced
by the Globe Aircraft Company, initial demand was such that
Tenco was sub-contracted to produce the aircraft in a
parallel production line. Unfortunately production soon
caught up with demand. Temco received all rights to the
aircraft in 1947 and continued producing aircraft for
another four years when production ceased.
The second is the flight manual for the YT-35. This tandem
primary trainer lost out to the Beechcraft T-34 Mentor, and
only three evaluation aircraft were produced for the US
military. The third flight manual is for the Model 58, a mid-fifties armed
advanced trainer produced as a private venture aimed at
foreign air arms. I believe only the prototype was produced.
This a very professionally produced flight manual for a
prototype aircraft. This CD has been scanned from the original flight manuals
and retains any colour pages.
