BOEING T-45
The British Aerospace (originally Hawker-Siddeley)
Hawk was designed as an advanced jet trainer to
replace the Folland Gnat in RAF service.
First flown in 1974, it entered RAF service in 1976.
The most famous user is the Red Arrows aerobatic
display team who adopted the type in 1979.
The aircraft remains in production with over 900
having been built for 18 customers worldwide.
One export sucess was the McDonnell-Douglas
(now Boeing) T-45, a licence built version built in the
USA for the US Navy. However the changes needed
to make it carrier compatible have changed it into a
considerably different aircraft.

export variant.

AP 101B-4401-15 dated DEcember 1978, with approx
250 pages. (This manual includes a supplement covering
the Red Arrows aircraft.)
2. Manufacturers Aircrew Manual for the Hawk Mk 61,
publication A6101-4461-15 dated August 1982 with approx
243 pages.
