GRUMMAN OV-1
MOHAWK
Flight Manual for the Grumman OV-1 Mohawk

The OV-1 was originally designed to a joint Army/Marines
specification for an observation/attack aircraft to replace
the L-19 Birddog .

The Marines withdrew and the aircraft became a totally
Army aircraft but was subjected to political influence and
compromise throughout its life.

It first flew in 1959 and around 380 were eventually built.
It was retired from US Army service when its reconnaissance
role was taken over by satellites and more capable aircraft.

This CD contains US Army flight manuals (called Operator
Manual by the US Army) for all versions of the OV-1 used
by the US Army, plus a manufacturers colour brochure.
The CD has been scanned from original flight manuals
and retains any colour pages.
