NORTH-AMERICAN
POST-WAR TWINS
Flight Manual for the North American F-82 Twin-Mustang Flight Manual for the North American AJ-1 Savage

This CD contains manuals on two post-war piston twins
produced by North American.

The P-82 (later F-82) was developed from the P-51 Mustang
as an extremely long-range bomber escort fighter and saw
active service in Korea, downing the first enemy aircraft in
that conflict.

The AJ-1 Savage was developed specifically to deliver
nuclear weapons. It's curious mixture of piston engines and
one jet engine was a result of both the lack of performance
of early jet engines and the high weight of early nuclear
weapons.

The CD has been scanned from the original flight manuals
and
retains any colour pages.
