DASSAULT MERCURE
Flight Manual for the Dassault Mercure

The Dassault Mercure was an intended competitor to
the Boeing 737, backed by the French government. It
was designed for 140 passengers, much more than the
737-200 then in production.

The prototype first flew in 1973, but struggled to attract
customers primarily because of the aircrafts short range
of only 1700 km. In the end only 11 aircraft were built,
operated by a single airline, Air Inter of France.

They remained in service until 1995. The program remains
one of the worst failures of a civil aircraft program in
terms of number of aircraft sold.

This CD contains the flight manual for the Mercure in
Air Inter service
.  The CD has been scanned from the
original
flight manual and retains any colour pages.
