The Martin 404 was developed
from the Martin 202, an attempt
by Martin to
gain a share of the expected post-war demand for
civil airliners.
202 production was brought to an end after 43
had been built,
after an in-flight structural failure. The Martin
404 incorporated
wing structural revisions and introduced a
lengthened
pressurised fuselage. When production ended in
1953 a total
of 103 had been built including two for the US
Coast Guard
as RM-1Z's.
This CD contains two
nice brochures for the Martin 202 plus
two flight manuals for the Martin 404. The
CD has been scanned
from the original brochures and flight manuals and retains
any
colour pages.

manufacturer especially for the US Coast Guard
model RM-1. Dated 1-9-52 approx 258 pages.
