VULTEE (STINSON) L-1

Flight Manual for the Stinson (Vultee) L-1

The L-1 was originally designated the O-49  and ordered into
production in 1940 by the USAAF as an air observation aircraft.

Redesignated L-1 in 1942, the aircraft was used extensively
in both the European and pacific theatres, though later
superseded by the more lightweight L-4 Grasshopper aircraft.

Examples were used by the British as the "Vigilant" under
the WW2 lend-lease program. The aircraft was modified for
both ambulance and floatplane roles.

The CD contains the USAAF pilot flight manual and the Erection
and Maintenance Manual for the L-1 series.  The
CD has been
scanned from the original flight manuals and retains any
colour
pages.
