FMA IA-58 PUCARA &
IA-63 PAMPA
![]()
The IA-58 Pucara ("Fortress") is a turboprop ground-attack
and COIN aircraft designed to be operated from small front
line airfields. The prototype first flew in 1969 and around
150 have been built, serving with the Argentine air force
and several other smaller air forces. The IA-63 was intended to replace the MS760 in Argentine
Air Force service, and received assistance from Dornier of
Germany in the design. This is why the aircraft shares some
features with the Alpha Jet. The aircraft first flew in 1984
but only a small number have been built for the sole customer,
the Argentine Air Force. This CD contains the flight manuals for both the IA-58 and
the IA-63, in Spanish, and one brochure for each, in English.
The CD has been copied from the original flight manuals and
retains any colour pages.
