BOEING-VERTOL H-46
HELICOPTER

First flown in 1958 the Vertol model 107 (H-46 Sea Knight) utilised
the tandem rotor layout developed by Vertol and its predecessor,
Piasecki Helicopter Corp. Utilised extensively by the US Navy and
US Marines in the transport and ship replenishment roles, the
aircraft has also been sold to Canada, Sweden and Japan (where
it was built under licence).
