GRUMMAN FM-2 WILDCAT
& F8F BEARCAT

Flight Manual for the Grumman FM-2 Wildcat   . Flight Manual for the Grumman F8F Bearcat

The FM-2 was the final development of the Grumman F4F, which first flew
in 1937. The FM-2 was developed by General Motors while Grumman
concentrated on the more advanced F6F.

The Grumman F8F Bearcat was the ultimate carrier-based piston-engined
fighter and first flew in 1944.  Too late to see active service in WW2, it
remained in production until 1949 and saw service with US Navy Reserve
units until the late 50's. Probably more well known for it's exploits at the
Reno Air Races.

This CD contains the flight manuals for the FM-2 and the F8F, has been
scanned from the original flight manuals and retains any colour pages.
