The holy grail for aircraft manufacturers
post WW2 was the
replacement for the DC-3, and Fokker came the closest with
the F-27 Friendship.
The prototype first
flew in 1955, and when production ended
in 1987 it had become the most successful European turbo-
prop transport with 586 examples built.
The Fairchild company
in the USA took a licence and built a
further 207 aircraft.
This CD contains flight
manuals for both the Fokker and the
Fairchild versions of the F-27 aircraft, plus five colour brochures.
The CD has
been scanned from the original flight manuals and
retains any colour pages.
