AVRO CF-100
![]()
The first aircraft to be completely designed and built
in Canada, the CF-100 first flew in 1950. The first
two prototypes utilised RR Avon jet engines, but
production aircraft used the Canadian Orenda
engine.
Approx 692 examples were produced of five major
variants. 53 aircraft were exported to the Belgian
Air Force and the rest were retained by the RCAF.
Due to its robust airframe the last examples were
not retired from RCAF service until 1981.
This CD contains two flight manuals for the CF-100. The
CD has been scanned from the original flight manuals
and retains any colour pages.
