Designed to a 1941 US Army requirement for a specialised military
freighter the C-82 first flew in 1944. 220 had been produced when
production ended in 1948 and they were retired in 1954.A new version with more powerful engines and a re-located flight
deck was developed in 1947. Initially designated XC-82B it was
re-designated C-119 and entered large scale USAF service. Over
1050 were eventually produced and it was also supplied to
numerous foreign air arms under the Military Assistance program. This CD contains the flight manuals for the C-82 and two
production versions of the C-119, one with the R4360 engine and
one with the R3350 engine. The CD has been scanned from the
original flight manuals and retains any colour pages.
