BRISTOL BUCKINGHAM,
BRIGAND & BUCKMASTER

Flight Manual for the Bristol Buckingham  Flight Manual for the Bristol Brigand
Flight Manual for the Bristol Buckmaster

The Bristol Type 163 Buckingham was a British WW2 medium
bomber designed as a replacement for the Blenheim. It first
flew in 1943 but by then it was outdated and was used primarily
for transport and liaison duties.

Seeking a replacement for the Beaufighter, Bristol used the
wings, tail and undercarriage of the Buckingham to produce the
Brigand anti-shipping and ground attack aircraft. 147 were
built, remaining in service until 1958.

The Buckmaster was also developed from the Buckingham as
an advanced trainer. The first 65 aircraft were converted from
Buckinghams on the production line.
Considered the "highest
performance trainer in the RAF," the Buckmaster continued to
serve as a trainer until its eventual retirement in the mid-1950s

This CD contains the flight manuals (called Pilot's Notes by the
RAF) for all models of the post-war Bristol twins, the Buckingham,
Brigand and Buckmaster, plus the Descriptive and Servicing
Handbook for the Buckingham.
This CD has been copied from
the original flight manuals and
 retains any colour pages.
