BELL 47 SERIES
HELICOPTERS

The prototype of what was to become a classic helicopter design first
flew in Dec 1945, and in 1946 the Bell 47 was awarded the world's first
approved helicopter Type Certificate. It remained in production for
another 27 years, until 1973, and was produced under licence in Italy
and Japan.

First evaluated by the military in 1947 it's potential was quickly realised,
and numerous variants have been produced over the years for all
services, mainly in the training and liaison roles.

This CD set contains flight manuals for several military variants of the
Bell 47. This CD set has been copied from the original flight manuals and
retains any colour pages.

1. USAF Pilot's Handbook for the YR-13, AN 01-110HAA-1, dated 30-1-47
    approx 22 pages. (Probably the very first military Bell 47 manual.)

2. Handbook of Flight Operating Instructions for the USAF H-13C/D and
    the US Navy HTL-4, AN 01-110HAB-1 dated 15-5-52 revised to 15-3-53,
    approx 40 pages.

3. The USAF Flight Handbook for the H-13G, AN 01-110HAE-1 dated
    15-6-53, approx 59 pages.

4. US Navy Flight Handbook for the HTL-7, NAVWEPS 01-110HAE-501
    dated 1-7-58, approx 75 pages.
