MARTIN B-26 MARAUDER
![]()
Designed to a demanding US Army specification for a high-speed medium
bomber, the B-26 quickly acquired a reputation as a "hot-ship". Following
a careful investigation, changes to the aircraft to improve low-speed
handling, and changes in handling techniques meant the aircraft went on
to record the lowest attrition rate of any US aircraft operated in Europe by
the 9th Air Force. Unlike other WW2 types however, the B-26 was rapidly
removed from service at the end of WW2.
We offer two CD's for this aircraft.
