Although the first Y1B-17 first flew in 1936 the aircraft did not enter
large scale production until after Pearl Harbor. Almost 13,000 were
eventually built, the B-17F (3,400) and the B-17G (8,700) being the
most numerous production variants.This CD contains four flight manuals for the most common
variants of the Boeing B-17. This CD has been copied from the
original flight manuals and retains any colour pages.

AN 01-20EE-1 dated 5-11-42, approx 187 pages.
2. USAAF Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions for the B-17F and
B-17G airplanes, AN 01-20EF-1 (AP 2099C) dated 1-8-43, revised
to 1-10-43, approx 120 pages.
3. The USAAF Pilot Training Manual for the B-17 Flying Fortress, AAF
Manual 50-13 dated 1-5-45, approx 200 pages. Covers the B-17G model.4. RAF Pilot's Notes for the Fortress GR.IIA, GR.II and III, B.II and B.III,
AP 2099B to F-PN, dated May 1944, approx 50 pages. (The Fortress II
is the B-17E, the Fortress IIA is the B-17F and the Fortress III is the
B-17G.)
