ANTONOV AN-2,
AN-24, AN-26

Flight Manual for the Antonov AN-2  Flight Manual for the Antonov AN-24  Flight Manual for the Antonov AN-26

This CD contains three flight manuals in Russian from
the famous Antonov Russian Design Bureau, plus an
additional manual in English.

The first is for the AN-2, probably the most well-known
biplane. Surprisingly for its configuration, the AN-2 was
first flown in 1947 using a 1000hp Russian manufactured
version of the Wright R-1830. Over 15,000 are believed
to have been built over a period of 40 years, 60% of
which were built in Poland, with a small number in
China.

The AN-24 was designed and built as short/medium range
airliner and first flew in 1960. It is typically Antonov in
configuration with a high wing and anhedral in the outer
sections. Over 1,100 are believed to have been built,
including a number in China as the X-7.

A version if the AN-24 utilised an auxiliary jet engine in
the RH nacelle and this increased performance lead to
the development of a military version designated the
AN-26.  This involved a re-designed rear fuselage with
a rear ramp/cargo door to enable in-flight airdropping
or direct loading of cargo on the ground.

The CD has been scanned from the original manuals.
