MILES AEROVAN

The Miles Aerovan was a short-range low-cost passenger and
freight aircraft produced by the British Miles company using
their traditional wooden construction.
The first aircraft flew in January 1945, and when production
ended in 1947 another 51 examples had followed.
This CD contains the flight and maintenance manuals for
the Miles Aerovan plus two period brochures. The CD has
been scanned from the original manuals and retains any
colour pages.

1. Manufacturers Provisional issue Pilots Notes and
Flight Manual for the Miles M.57 Aerovan, Publication
No C.10 dated December 1946 with approx 85 pages.2. Manufacturers Service Manual for the Miles M.57
Aerovan Mk IV, Publication No C.9 dated July 1946
with approx 336 pages. (Also used by the RNZAF as
NZAP 138).
3. Manufacturers Specification for the Miles Aerovan.
Undated with 11 pages.
4. Manufacturers brochure for the Miles M.68. Undated
with 4 pages. The M.68 was a four-engined variant of
the Aerovan with a removable cargo compartment
similar to the later Fairchild XC-120 aircraft.
