BELL AH-1
HUEYCOBRA
Flight Manual for the Bell AH-1 Helicopter

The ubiquitous Bell UH-1 "Huey" is probably the most well-known
helicopter both visually, following its service in Viet Nam and
appearance in news telecasts and numerous films, and aurally,
with it's distinctive "whump whump" sound.

In 1965 Bell initiated development of a dedicated attack version,
mating a new narrow tandem seating fuselage to the basic rotor
/powerplant package. Designated AH-1 and named HueyCobra, the
new helicopter saw extensive service with the US Army and also
with the US Marine Corps. Like the UH-1, it has been extensively
developed through several models.

This CD contains three flight manuals for the US Army and US
Marine Corps series of AH-1
military attack helicopters.
